The late great Steve Irwin would be in wonderland in Tol Barad, so many Crocs. However, what he wouldn't accept is my new level 85 skinner going wild killing/skinning them and not even a death roll in sight.
Onto the serious stuff for all you wannabe "Crocodile Hunters". These Crocs are a requisite for Swamp Bait as they drop Crocolisk Hide. This is one of the daily quests available when your faction controls Tol Barad.
If you get to Tol Barad just after a battle has finished its a free for all on skinning. Most PvP players dont have skinning and farmers cannot get into here as its only available at Level 85. There is always somebody else skinning but aslong as you don't skin his kills its all fair game.
I went in late last night where only 3 or 4 players were killing them and after 30 mins of skinning/killing I had accrued 90 Savage Leather about 15 Crocolisk Tail which are used for Beer-Basted Crocolisk or Crocolisk Au Gratin. This in my eyes was a really good haul and definately worth the time.
This is probably the quickest way farm Savage Leather if you need it and you usually dont need to kill a single Croc which would have made Steve a very happy man(except for the skinning part of course).
